Gertrude's Nose Trail
Day Hike - Level Intermediate+
The amazing 1,000 foot Cliffs of Gertrude's Nose:
For
a special visit to a most geologically intriguing area, the Millbrook
Mountain range to Gertrude's Nose will start with some rolling hills /
intermediate hiking into deeply forested areas and end with a most spectacular view - in three different directions - unfolding before your very eyes.
Meeting / Departure:
Departure Time: 7.45/ 8.00 am
Meeting: 3 pick-up locations in Manhattan, UES, 14th Street, UWS
Return ca. 6.30 pm - Depending on traffic
Price: $45 to $65
Will include transportation, water, Gatorade, beer !! and some snacks for the way back...
For you to bring: backpack, lunch, sandwiches, picnic, water, liquids... and good spirits !!
Hiking boots always recommended, sneakers ok...
Dress in layers, fleece, etc...
Upon return to the van, you will be "greeted" by beer, water, and gatorade... and some snacks for the way back...

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Registration
is refundable up to 6 business days prior to the activity date minus a
$20 administrative & processing fee per ticket. Within 6 business
days of the activity date all purchases are final and Non-Refundable.
Change of date:
If you need to or want to change your date after you purchased your ticket: up to 6 business days prior to the activity, there will be a
$20 administrative & processing fee per ticket. Within 6 business
days of the activity, the $20 fee will also apply; however, the date change might only be possibly if we can replace you. New date is subject to availability and restrictions apply.
Weather Policy:
In
case we have to cancel due to weather; we will apply a
full forward credit to this very same activity or any future
event of choice.
